Held October 14–15 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, ALFC 2025 brings together the global rapid diagnostics ecosystem to exchange insights, spark collaborations, and advance the industry’s most promising technologies. This year’s theme—Catalyzing Growth: Tech Advancements, Funding, and Regulatory Roadmaps in LFA—underscores the core elements driving meaningful progress in lateral flow: innovation, capital, and clarity.
From product managers and investors to assay developers and regulators, ALFC convenes the people responsible for turning great ideas into commercial, clinical, and operational success. At the heart of this gathering is the ALFC Awards Program, designed to recognize standout contributions in four categories:
Innovation Award
Self-Nomination Only
This award honors individuals or teams who have introduced breakthrough products or technologies that expand the boundaries of lateral flow diagnostics. Finalists will present their work live during a high-profile pitch session at ALFC 2025, evaluated by a panel of strategics and investors in a Shark Tank-style format. A $10,000 cash prize and audience-voted honors will be awarded at the closing reception.
Lifetime Achievement Award
